Settings that enforce it
- Turn on approval before anything sends, and leave any "send automatically" option off.
- Check that your tool cancels scheduled follow-ups when a reply arrives. Test it with a reply from your own phone.
- Keep your do-not-contact list and texting consent in one current file the agent can read.
- When you stop the run, also cancel its scheduled sends, and check that they're gone.
- If your tool can't do one of these, leave that part of the job with a person.
One check before you trust it
Approve a test set for a quote to yourself, then reply "we went with someone else" on day 3. The later follow-ups should be cancelled, nothing else should go out, and the thread should reach you with a suggested answer and no new offer.
