ECHO™ Role Library Terms

1. What the library is

The ECHO Role Library is a free collection of sample roles, workflows, limits and checks for AI agents ("entries"). Restrained Depth AI LLC ("we") publishes it at echo-consult.com/library.

2. Samples, not advice

The entries help an AI agent with routine business work. They aren't legal, tax, medical, financial or HR advice, and they don't replace a licensed professional. In regulated work, have a qualified person check the AI's output before anyone relies on it.

3. You're in charge

• You decide what your AI agent does, and you check its work before it reaches a customer.
• A pasted entry asks the AI to hold back; it doesn't lock anything. For anything that moves money, sends messages, publishes or changes records, also turn on your tool's approval and permission settings. If your tool can't do that, keep that part of the work with a person.
• Make sure your use follows the laws and rules where you do business, including privacy, consent for email and text messages, and your industry's rules.
• Don't paste personal, health, payment or password details into a tool that isn't approved for them.

4. No promised results, and no promised memory

• AI tools differ and change. The same entry can give different results on different models, or on the same model next month.
• We don't promise any result, time saved or income.
• AI tools may not remember an entry between chats or after an update. Save it where your tool loads it every time, and paste it again after changes.
• We test entries over time and label each one's status. "To be tested" means we don't have test results for it yet.

5. Your AI provider's terms apply

You'll use entries inside AI products that other companies run. Their terms and privacy rules apply to what you paste and to what their AI does. They can change or retire features without telling us.

6. What you may do

You may copy, paste, adapt and use entries in your own business.

7. What you may not do

• Don't sell entries, publish them somewhere else, or bundle them into another library, course, template pack, product or dataset, whether in whole or in large part.
• Don't remove the ECHO notice from entries you share with your team or clients.
• Don't scrape, bulk-download or copy the library by automated means.
• Don't use the library as training data for AI models, or turn it into a benchmark or test set for them. Running the library’s own checks on your own agents is fine.
• Don't try to get around the free-open limit.

8. The free opens and your email

• You can open five entries free. Opens are counted in your browser.
• To open the rest, give your email. It unlocks the library in that browser, and we use it to tell you about new entries. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• We store your email, the language you choose, when you accepted these terms, and the entry, page and campaign link you signed up from with Netlify, the company that hosts our website in the United States. If you live outside the United States, sending the form means this information is stored and handled there.

Privacy

9. No affiliation. Trademarks

• We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the companies whose AI tools we name. Their product names are their trademarks; we use them only to say where an entry can run.
• ECHO™ and ECHO Role Library™ are trademarks of Restrained Depth AI LLC.

10. Changes

• We update entries and these terms. Every entry shows its version, and our changelog lists what changed.
• Before an important change to these terms takes effect, we'll email people who have signed up, and post the new date here.

11. Liability

The library is free and provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, including liability for our intentional acts or gross negligence.

12. The rest

• The laws of the State of California, USA, govern these terms. If the law where you live gives you protections that can’t be waived, you keep them.
• You need to be 18 or older to unlock the library with your email.
