Settings that enforce it
- Before restarting, open each tool's queue and scheduled jobs, and cancel anything you don't want to fire (often under "Scheduled", "Outbox" or "Automations").
- Keep the coordinator's access read-only while it reconciles.
- Set up a test contact or a test inbox for dry runs, so fake data never reaches a customer.
- Write down who does each job by hand if the AI stays down.
- If your tool can't do one of these, leave that part of the job with a person.
One check before you trust it
Schedule one test follow-up to your own number, then pause the agent. At restart, the run should find it in the queue and hand it to you, without sending it.
