Settings that enforce it
- Set the research agent to read-only, and the cart agent to ask before every purchase or booking (often called "Always ask").
- Pay with a single-use card number or a card with a hard limit at or below your errand limit.
- Grant each errand one-time or task-scoped access. Skip "Always allow".
- Send confirmations to the agent's own email account, so the receipt check doesn't need your personal inbox.
- Start with you paying by hand from the checkout summary. Let the agent pay only after [INSERT] weeks of clean errands, one permission at a time.
- If your tool can't do one of these, leave that part of the job with a person.
One check before you trust it
Ask for an errand where the only option costs more than your errand limit. The run should stop at gate 1 with the options, flag the limit, and fill no cart.
