Before you count agreement, find out what each source actually saw.

For anyone who uses several AI tools, or several articles, to confirm a fact before acting on it. You trace each claim back to where it first appeared and count only the originals. Three agreeing answers built on one summary are one source.

Steps
- Write down the claim, and every source that seems to support it: each AI answer, article, post or report.
- For each source, find what it was shown or where it got the claim. For an AI, that's whatever you or someone else pasted into it.
- Where several sources read the same material or quote each other, count them together as one source.
- Find the earliest source you can and open it. If you can't reach it, write "earliest source I found" and say what you couldn't open.
- Check that the original actually says the claim, in those words or close to them.
What to do with the result
Base the decision on how many independent sources you found. If there's only one, treat the claim as unconfirmed until a separate source backs it, and say so wherever you use it.
